SOURCE: Can't get sound from the wireless subwoofer
I had the same problem and it turned out that the directions are very unclear. You need to not only press the ID/SET button on the wireless system, but also on the wireless subwoofer itself. That solved my problem.
SOURCE: The sound coming from my speakers sounds tinny or like they are in a tunnel.

Check the heat shield to the exhaust manifolds, good chance that the bolts on them have rusted off or is loose causing the Heat Shields to rattle making the tinny rattle noise. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to know if that's making the noise, and if not we can look at other things.

yes the capacitors your looking for are a 1000uf , 1500 uf , and on the other side of the heatsink a 680 uf. the tops will be slightly bowled. replace those with same type !not brand!, and youll be happy.(same thing happened to me, less than 2 years old also).
SOURCE: no sound in sound bar and subwoofer
for Jameslicon re wireless sub going on and off repeatedly. Both the soundbar and the sub have 4 wireless channels - try a different pairing of those channels. There is a sliding switch on the back of both units. I set each of mine to channel 4 and the problem went away. There is also a signal level switch with 3 levels on the back of the soundbar. If the wireless channel idea does not work, try a different setting on the level switch. Good luck.
