My uniden SSE 37 only rings once befor it goes to message bank . How do I get it to ring more than once so it doesn't go to message bank if I'm home .thanks di

not knowing what phone it is make this hard. It will be in the setup menus but most systems will probably be limited to 6.

Since you didn't specify the model of your Uniden phone I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.

From the handset, press Select/Menu and then press the down arrow to get to Ans Setup. Press Select again. Go down to Ring Time. Then select the number of rings (6, 9, 12 or Toll Saver (TS)). Press Select then press Flash/Exit to exit the menu system. Toll Saver picks up after 2 rings if you have new messages or 4 rings if you don't. This lets you hang up before the answering system picks up if you are using the remote phone access feature.

Note: if you have Voice Mail from your telephone provider, you need to set that to a longer number of rings separately. Consult with your phone company on that option.

It may be similar to the problem I had with the wireless home phone with answering machine not taking messages when had the answering machine set to 12 rings before answering. Found the sim card (my wireless system) auto response would answer first. Fixed it by reducing time to 6 rings and answering machine now comes on first. This might resolve it for you.

If its going to your carriage service provider message bank then you need to reset this for a longer period. The carrier message bank is managed by the carrier.

If the cordless has an answering service, then you need to scroll through the menu on the phone to select answering functions and select 6 rings or longer.

Messaging then Voicemail this is where the settings are stored you can disabl all then your phone wll just keep rining or change ringing time
