On the normal cycle of my Duet front load washer at 37 minutes the machine stops and flashes F5. I push the reset button then the start button and the machine works fine after that.

HI. This is a Water temperature sensor error.

If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, or the heating element circuit has failed, the F05 error code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and Element Relay
• Check connections to the Sensor, Heating Element and Relay

Replace failed component.(Most common issue will be a failed water temp sensor)

My Duet washer washer was last used about 10 days ago (ah vacation!) and now won't start. I push the power on button and the display lights up, but nothing happens when I push (and hold) the start button....
Unplug it for 1 min and replug it back in this resets the cpu if you have had storms while you were gone and something weird occurred

Duet washer stopped during wash cycle.
take off the panel below the door three screws and look for the tech sheet located on the right side. It will coach yoou thru the codes and common problems. Sounds like it may be the door swithch does it lock when you push the start? If not the door switch my guess would be a machine control. 877-262-1479 parts.

In many cases these error codes can be erroneous. If you reset the Central Control Unit (the Main Control for the washer), in many cases, the problem will clear. You must unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in order to do this, however. If an error code returns following a CCU reset, then you have a legitimate problem.

Washer not working
Okay...try unplugging the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes. This will often cure momentary glitches with the washer computer. After the washer has been reset, attempt the start a load and let me know if it functions normally. If it doesn't, let me know what the front panel display reads.
