Dear experts. how can i flush the capilair from my refrigerator. some people are using 90% alcohol. is this ok. if it is ok how can i use this. regards. S.Mataw

Usually the capillary tube is blown through with nitrogen or a refrigerant. If you are unable to blow through the capillary tube you can always replace it. Diameter and length are critical. You can find charts through Supco and other suppliers of capillary tubes.

Icemaker not working

You may want to test the ice maker voltage to the fill valve( using a short length of insulated 14 guage wire, with both ends stripped, and a multi meter or test light attached the the icemaker fill valve wires, insert the end of the wire into the "T" and "H" openings in the front of the ice maker, hold the wires there until the main gear starts to rotate, then remove the wire. When the rake arm reaches the 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock position, the control module should send 120 VAC to the fill valve and the light or meter should indicate the voltage is present.

Please post back your results so I may help you further.

Greetings sir! my inspiration pursuit threadmill when switched on an er 1 appear... any solution sir?

1) adjust the speed sensor, clean it, and tight wires connector very well.
2)test the input voltage motor, if there are voltage, the motor need repair or replace.
3) measure the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.
see the diagrams.
God bless you

Water comes out of water dispenser on outside of frig and no one is touching it. seems to turn on by itself

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

Based on your post I understand you have a problem with a refrigerator, model:FSR26H5AS correct ? Does it only shoot water out when the icemaker fills with water ?

If that's the scenario and If it is indeed a Frigidaire side by side, this is a problem associated with a faulty diode which controls voltages to the inlet valves.

Here's what you can do, if you have an ohm meter and measure accross the diode and get little to no resistance the diode is shorted. The diode may not be obvious as it is usually along the back wall (back of outside cabinet) and wrapped in an insulator.

The other way to check is through a voltage test. Measure voltage during an icemaker fill or a water fill to a glass, if there is voltage at all the valves at the same time, you have a shorted diode.

If so this is the kit required to remedy the problem, #5303918287. It simply can be "spliced" into the existing wires and includes the primary component, the diode.

Samsung RF265ABBP french door bottom freezer. Not making ice. In 2009 the following work done under warranty: new thermister installed, new water valve installed and icemaker replaced. Then in 1-2010 the...

No, the valve is automatically controlled by the PCB panel. You must find out if the valve is commanded by measuring the voltage across it.
If the voltage is there then the valve has failed again and it will have to be replaced. Here it is

Water will not dispense--fairly new filter

Are you sure about that model number because I have the service manual for a RS265AA if you like. The water valve can be tested ao back with a multi-meter and should show 120 volts or your home voltage when someone presses the dispense water switch. If yes the voltage is present the water control valve is defective and will need replaced.Double check your model number because there are no Samsung refrigerators with the RF2 prefix RS2 is Samsung prefix. Let me know, what you find, Sea Breeze
