If cleaning and checking the terminals didn't work, you may have a broken motherboard. The T-Mobile G1 logic board isnottoo hard to replace. A good source for the part would be ebay. Thereis a step by step guide too that explains how to replace the board : T-Mobile G1 repair. There are also third party T-Mobile repair companies that do it for you.

My Roku streaming stick is properly connected to my Samsung tv. Today, it says "Not Connected". I know that my WiFi is ok. I 've disconnected the Roku several times, to reboot. It's only a month old.

Appears that the stick has lost its ability to connect to your wi fi since the latter is apparently working with your other devices. Since only a month old it is under warranty and should be returned for exchange..

Allegro DVD/VCR combo - not reading disk & eating tapes.

Sorry I know very little about the dvd side but my experience with several VCRs is they need cleaning sometimes just like audio tape recorders and players need cleaning. Early in my days of VCR ownership the engineer I used was sick of seeing me and taught me how to clean the heads, guides and rollers myself to restore performance and help prevent tapes being chewed. Head cleaning tapes simply did not reach the parts needing cleaning though the the wet type sometimes helped.

A VCR might work normally for several months and then suddenly it would happen again. Sometimes I needed to do a clean several times in a month. I did have a Sharp VCR once and that had something called an idler reel that would "suddenly" need replacing (several times) due to chewed tapes but other than that manual cleaning did the job every time.

Later VCRs were fitted with a self cleaner that worked well and meant there was no trouble for a long time but when the self cleaner became loaded with filth they actually made matters worse.
Matter of interest, I use clean newspaper and methylated spirit for cleaning.

All the lights on my dash kept coming on and going off for about 4 months. Then all of a sudden the car just died on me at a stop light. Now my battery is dead; but i've tried to crank it many tim

it could be the alternator . measure the output voltage across the battery with the engine running and car in neutral with hand brake on. It should at least 13.4 volts.
If it does then I would get the battery checked at a car battery place.
A car battery place could also check your alternator.

If you are stranded at the lights suggest calling a mobile car battery replacement person or a road assist company if you are a member of one.

They can jumper a temporary mobile battery across your battery to get car out of traffic stream !
