Brand new Shark Euro Pro still in box. Purchased almost two years ago and never put together due to an accident my sister had. She is still in a nursing home and will never get to come back home. Battery has never been charged but I put it all together and plugged in charger and nothing is happening.

Either the battery is not making contact with the charger internals, or the battery itself is at end-of-life.

mcdevito75 here, I believe a full charge would be 4--6 hours, but wait until battery needs the charge, to charge a battery with an already half charge or better could shorten battery life.
