I own a Canon power shot SD790 IS and I've been using wonderfully for the past few months Last weekend when I turned on my camera to view some pics I noticed a little blue screen on the corner of my camera in when I take pictures and upload them to the camera the blue spot doesn't show up on the pictures thank God but it's on my LCD screen and it seems internal I don't know if it's dead pixel or a lens problem can this be fixed at home please help I can't send it back because I ordered it online and I live in the Caribbean so it will **** it's not that bad but it's pretty annoying especially when I'm taking pictures with dark backgrounds. Thanks in advance

It seems to be a dead pixel, best thing would be to have it replaced from the Seller, else you can get it replaced with a new working lcd panel. This may be an expensive solution.Check whether you have a worldwide warranty from Canon, that will help you on saving costs.

Probably a Microsoft update is the culprit. Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.
