Do you still have messaging service? Check with customer service, they can re-send the data files to make it work, could also be a bad SIM which carrier will usually replace for free.
what network are you using with this phone, let me know and i can give you the correct service number and this will sort the problems, another way is to ring your service provider and ask for a sim update
It's a operator message. Your SIM card need to send a message to the operator to inform something about your phone (like you are using a new phone) but the receiver don't recognize for what the message is. Your sim card will keep sending the message until it receives a valid response. Try to change the SIM card and see what happens. If the problem appears only with one card, you may ask your carrier company to change it.
I have seen this problem alot. I will give you two different solutions, the second worked best for me. The first is to remove your SIM card and leave it out for a few seconds then put it back in. From what I know, phones with SIM cards save the messages to the sim card and the other saves them to the phone. The second which works good for me, it a product called Motorola phone tools, it comes with the software, data cable, if you have a computer this will cost you a few dollars, but check around I bought mine for $30.00.
Go to Motorolas website https://motorolasetup.tarsin.com/sendappsettings.htm and select exact model of phone follow the directions and they will send you update for the phone. I did not realize that I needed to do this I bought my phone through internet and did not understand why could not send pics as my provider said that I shoud be able to. Now I can hope this works. Good luck
It sounds like your phone is not unlocked. Did you get the phone through a different provider and your sim card through some one else? For ex, here in US, a cingular SIM will not work in a Sprint phone.
whoever unlocked your phone didn't do it right and you'll need to have your firmware reflashed onto the phone. Just have a professional do this cause it is far too easy for someone unexperienced to mess up the phone.
