If you do not know what IC is i do not think you should be in a high voltage TV. IC is integrated circuit "CHIPS" and are all through the TV. What IC's are you looking for?

Where can I buy an STR-4525 transistor for my Toshiba Rear Projection tv?

That is a drawing number for the IC itself. I will need the model of the TV and the location number for that IC to be able to look up the Toshiba part number. The location number will be silk screened onto the pc board where it came from.

Phillips Magnavox 60" model ptv835

Recently had same issue and after EXTENSIVE SEARCHING found all three ICs and replaced them. TV works perfectly, also, replaced convergence ICs at same time. The one 16-pin IC for the regulation ckt. is $49.95 the other 16-pin IC is $19.95 and the 8-pin opto is about $10. This price is for a minimum qty. and must have a business for quote.

I have a phillips 60 inch projection tv double picture

Yes its the convergence ICs. You will need ywo STK392-120 ICs and about six of the 6.8 ohm 1watt metal resistors to repair the issue. You can get replacement ICs and resistors at the following link and they will provide free instalation instructions with pictures so you can easially do the repair yourself and save about 400.00. Here is the link.

CONVERGENCE

Your Ics are bad and you prob have a resistor or two that have gone out too. If you are good with a soldering iron and have an hour to give up you can fix it. They are at location 7044 and 7045 on your board. They are STK 392-120's and the part number is 932212344682 good luck with you repair.
