Hitachi p50h401a when tv is changed inputs the volume goes loud an have no control of volume have to turn it off an wait then turn it on takes a few tries before volume works right

Someone push the volume up button too hard and is stuck,this also has the micro(brain) confused,all this happen before you fund out your remote would not work.

Since remote does not work, try taking out batt and turning on by set. See if still turns up. It could be that the up button is jammed inside set. Does everything else works? See if you can go to menu and turn speakers off, this will allow you to work on set and not worry about noise.

The control board is defective. Is in warranty so call Sharp to have it fixed.

SOURCE: mintex 37 inch wide screen. remote is working however cannot change channel, input source or volum. only turns tv off. The buttone on tv doesnot work connot change input source or volume

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

Plama tv don't have fan.Only DLP tvs have fan.
