Many projectors have you twist the lens at the front of the unit (or have a separate adjustment near the front). This unit may not have the option, in which case you will need to adjust the image size by moving the projector closer to the screen.

if u are using the composite video the try component video. composite video will dive u a dull image than component one. also check the distance between the projector an screen.Make sure the projection screen is between the required distance 4.9 to 40.7 feet (1.5 to 12.5 meters) from the projector.

we changed out the light buld... now it works fine.. funny thing was projector was brand new just out of box... you could see first thing there was a brown spot in the center of the buld creating the spot apparently after it heated up.... thanks again

LCD projector 101, your blue device is dying inside of projector. Consider purchasing a dlp based product, they do not suffer from color decay.

Really you are blessed , most lcds last about 3-4000 hours or 4 lamp changes. good luck

go into the menu and the service or settings option. reset the settings to factory default. also, it does not do hd. make sure the resolution matches.

CHECK THE LAMP IF THE LAMP LUSTER HAS GONE OUT OR THE FILAMENT AT DOWN PORTION IS BLACK THEN THIS PROBLEM HAPPEN

cover up the infrared remote sensor on the projector. The heat of these colours or something might be messinf with the infrared remote sensor. TRy this and see what happens. It may just be bad contacts. Some projectors just cant handle stuff like this. Some were meant for presentations and presentations only. BUt seriously try covering the remote sensor to see what happens. If it is an older projector the infrared signal detector might be sensitive to bright light or stuff like that.

John here, customer advocate at Dell headquarters. If you can nvigate to the On Screen Display Menu, you should see an "all images" section on the main menu. There you will find brightness, contrast, color temp, white intensity, and gamma controls. You should be able to make adjustments from that menu to sharpen and brighten the image.
