I have a panasonic HD tv, Philips dvd recorder. All tv chanels are nice and clear , I connected my VCR n DVD recorder to my TV, but I can't record any progrma from TV ! when I change the source on my dvd recorder remote control ,there's no tv chanel !!

My dear friend where you connect the antenna source to the dvd or to the vcr or tv because ,if you wanna record anything you need to connect the antenna source to the dvd and put the channel you wanna record on him

The reason for this is simple; the built-in digital tuner does not
support HD, only SD. You cannot fix it, at least not economically where
the recorder combo is concerned. But you can obtain a separate HD set
top box, and connect the outputs of it to the inputs of your combo if
you really want to record HD channels. It's crude, but cheaper and
easier in the long term, and it doesn't damage your machine.
To get the functionality you're looking for you'll need to to take the cable running from your DVR output and connect it to the input on your DVD recorder. Next you want to connect a cable from your DVD recorder output and connect it to your TV. If this is an HD set up you want to use HD Cables for all of the connections.
Are you talking about recording from the list? You might have to set the recorder to record chanel 3. I can't check it because my dvd recorder is broken. I haven't done it in a while, I remember going to list and telling tivo to record to vcr and recording chanel 3, but you can't watch tv till it's finished.If you are talking about a connection try an a/b switch. All I can say is experiment
