Try pressing 'TEMP' then 'LIGHT'. You may have to do this a couple of times.

If you don't have a 'TEMP' button, either the temperature up or down will also work.

There are three modes, ECONOMY (EC / ECO / ECON), SLEEP (SL / SLP) and STANDARD (ST / STD). For everyday use keep it on STANDARD mode.

Cheers,

If hot tub is in sl mode. How do I change it so temperature goes up

Hi, this sounds like a Balboa pack and topside control. press the temperature button along with the light button. This should put you into the filtration mode selection. Then toggle using the temperature control buttons until you find your mode ST for standard and EC for Economy or SL for sleep. You can find more information here. My spa is at 89 and its set for 104 and the pump will not cut on what is the problem

You may be in economy mode. Economy only heats the water during a programmed filter cycle. You want it to be in standard mode which turns on the hot tub once the water is 2 degrees below the desired temperature. There should be a mode or program button on your topside. One some systems you'll have to hit prog/mode button then the temp up button to change the mode. There is also a sleep mode. Never used it not sure what it's for.

Why is it in economy mode when I want it at 104 degree and get into it?

In economy mode the spa is only going to heat up during a "Filter cycle" Check your manual and set the spa into "Standard Mode" so when you bump up the temp. on the topside control, the pump should kick on & the spa should heat up.
depending on your spa you may have a "Mode" button that will fix this or you might have to press two control buttons at the same time. Your owners manual should explain this.
Good Luck!

Tub is not heating to temperature and flashing a Ec message on the temperature screen.

the Ec message is reffering to the mode the tub is set for. Ec stands for Economy mode. In Economy mode the heater will only come on during the filter cycle you have programmed. It will take a while for the tub to actually heat up in this mode. Change the mode to St mode which stands for Standard mode. Your manual should explain how to do this. usually you hit the temp button then the light button to change from mode to mode. Once the St is in the read out window don't touch anything and it will except the programmmed entry automatically. In the Standard mode the tub will keep heating until the set temperature is reached. then it will come on every half hr or so to check that the temperature is maintained.
