I just bought an LG Chocolate VX8500 off of ebay. It was brand new with the protective plastic and everything still on it. Today when I was just in the middle of texting, my phone stopped working, and then I tried shutting it off. Now everytime I try to turn on my phone it wont work, and sometimes will just cntinue to flash verizon wireless on the screen. Help?

i dont fullly understand what problem you have with your phone but i have had a problem sililer to this and it isn't easy to find any1 who would repair this 'cheap' but you could save quite a bit of money by buying a replacment screen for this phone off ebay

and you could easily get your local phone repair shop to replace them for you, usually they dont charge much

If you have insurance on your phone getting it wet will invalidate all warranties and insurance. The only time insurance can be used if the phone is malfunctioning (not from getting wet), or LOST. If your phone is lost, they will give you a brand new one under the insurance policy.

The only piece of a mobile that can go bad when dunked is the LCD screen if it has liquid in it.

1. If you do not want to purchase anything, you can try to remove the lens from the LCD screen and see if any water is between the lens and the lcd. (the lens is the glass that covers the lcd which is usually stuck on with double sided tape.)

2. You can purchase a new lcd and install it.

3. to disassemble the phone follow these instructions:

4. replace the screen, and the phone should be good as new.

go ask a phone company

The Chocolate phones do not have sim cards.

I took the phone to Verizon and they tried a different battery. It worked fine so I had to buy a new battery

best to buy a new phone...you can try and take it to a mobile service center and see if reflashing it would correct it

well all you have to do is open up the phone then when you see the screen there should be wire connecting it to the chip just take it out careful as it is fragile and could brake then just take out the screen and replace it with the new onw and you should be done sence there isnt any hardware you have to install
