Hello. Your mic actually went bad from either liquid damage or a small bump. You need to have the mic either replaced at a motorola service center. Or you can do it yourself. It is quite easy. Just buy the mic from ebay for any old v series motorola phone v300 v400 v500, they are all the same. and just install it yourself.
