Whirlpool top load washer wont rinse or spin after wash cycle. model wtw5100v02 type 111-07

lid control switch bad, OL means open lid

My Whirlpool Front Load Wasehr Model# GHW9250ML is having problems spinning on the final rinse cycle. The machine shuts down and the letter F appears on the digital read out.

check the lid switch sounds like it is bad this is a common problem with whirlpool washers

IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH ITS NOT HEATING IF IT DOESNT IT STAYS IN WASH MODE AND WONT COMPLETE CYCLE NEW HEATER REQUIRED

Hi, This washer does not have a belt. While the washer is agitating, if you lift the lid will it stop? Some models will agitate but not spin if the lid is up. It sounds to me like the lid switch might be going bad.
If you will get me a model #, I can look this up for you and give you a better idea.

washer fills up but wont start washing i can turn the knob just passed the numbers and the little marks and it starts washing and when it gets to the rinse cycle it wont rinse but when it gets to spin cycle it spins good

sounds as if you have a faulty lid switch, for safety reasons if the machine doesnt think the lid is closed it willnot spin/drain the waer out.

If the washer won't finish a spin cycle, it probably means that your timer went bad or stalled. You can take the control panel off and look at the contacts for scorching or corrosion.

Sounds like the clutch, mi9ne works fine but is noisey when spinning, repair guy said it was the clutch.
