Fuzz balls in some areas on plasmas can actually be adjusted out on the Y board first mark the controls with a sharpy then watch the fuzz spot as you turn the controls a little to see which one clears up the picture. the back needs to be off and the Y board is laft side when you are facing the back

Phillips 47" flatscreen sounds still

If the TV menu displays your problem is most likely not the Tv , but is caused by the signal source:
Cable box or connections. Reboot everything test using other sources like a DVD player to isolate the problem.

Samsung flatscreen lcd picture went out 18 months after purchase. I hear sound but see black screen.

i have had to repair a few of those and the best! info i can give you is this!! the main board has to be swapped out! there little that you can do to repair it most of the parts are manufacturer availibility only! and non serviceable! by the user most boards are shipped complete at a cost of $90-$160 depending on supplier and area.

use the picture button to change the shape, Most likely you have it set to picture 3 which would cause that.

50 inch wide screen with fuzzy picture

If it recovers by itself, yes, it should be a cheap fix. It's most likely bulged/leaky capacitors in the power supply and flyback area. Check all the capacitors, and in my experience if you see a suspicious one it is best to replace all of them in that area, they are cheap and will save you from more serious issues.

Philips 34pw9818 fuzzy screen

Inside the set you should see a large part with a red wire coming out the top. That is the flyback transformer. There will be 1 or 2 controls on the back of it. One should be labeled screen and one focus. Carefully adjust the focus one until the picture is again in focus. Please note that in that area are high voltages (33,000V) that can be dangerous. Be careful where you touch. IT is best to have a mirror so you can see the picture while adjusting the focus control.

Kogi Monitor with fuzzy text

Here is one small solution. goto start: -> control panel -> display click on the "appearance" tab. then click on "effects" check the box that says: Use the following method to smooth the edges of screen fonts (and make sure to choose "cleartype") You should notice the fonts are a little sharper as well as having a backdrop.
