How do I replace the lights in my freezer

Turn off the power to the refrigerator/freezer by flipping the appropriate switch in your breaker panel. Alternatively, unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet.
2
Open the freezer door. Remove any items from the shelf directly under the light shield, then remove the shelf.
3
Press down on the top, front edge of the light shield until the locking tabs slip out of the slots. Swivel the light shield downward slightly to release it. Pull the shield out of the freezer compartment and set it aside.
4
Turn the light bulb counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the GE replacement bulb into the light socket and twist it clockwise.
5
Reattach the light shield by sliding it into place. Gently push the tabs into the original slots.
6
Insert the shelf into the freezer and reload it with the frozen food removed earlier.
7
Close the freezer door. Restore power to the refrigerator by flipping on the breaker or plugging it into the wall outlet.

On sub zero 690 like to change bulb in lighted electronic control panel

you will have to remove the light shield, remove the plastic trim that says the model number in front of the light shield, then the 2 screws holding the side cover on the left side of the fridge section. Then the cover will need to be pushed towards the rear of the fridge then tipped out at the front. It has springs holding it in the back. That should access the bulb you need to change

Light went out on refrigerator side

Your Sub-Zero unit contains standard 40 watt appliance bulbs in all compartments.

You'll need to remove the light shield in the top of the refrigerator or freezer to replace the bulbs. Place your hands under the light shield and release the two clips on the back of the light shield, then lift up and slide back slowly until the key slots on the side of the light shield drop past the mounting studs in the side walls. Then remove the shield.

The bulbs are now accessible.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

How to change the light bulb

Hi

Not all bulbs will fit your refrigerator. Be sure to replace the bulb with one of the same size, shape and wattage. On some models, the dispenser light requires a heavy duty 10-watt bulb. All other lights require a 40-watt bulb.

1. Unplug or disconnect power from your refrigerator.

2. Remove light shield when applicable.
NOTE: To clean the ligt shield, wash it with warm water and liquid detergent. Be sure to dry the shield thoroughly before installing.

3. Remove the light bulb and replace it with the same size, shape and wattage.

4. Replace light shield when applicable.

How to change the light in the refrig. compartment?

Some models are different...I hope this helps.

Replacing Light Bulbs
To avoid electrical shock which can cause severe personal injury or death, disconnect power to refrigerator before replacing light bulb. After replacing light bulb, reconnect power.
To avoid personal injury or property damage, observe the following:
• Allow light bulb to cool.
• Wear gloves when replacing light bulb.
Fresh Food Section
(style of light shield varies)
1. Slide clear light shield toward back of compartment to release from light assembly.
2. Remove light bulbs.
3. Replace with appliance bulbs no greater than 40 watts.
4. Replace light bulb cover by inserting tabs on light shield into liner holes on each side of light assembly. Slide shield toward front of refrigerator until it locks into place. Do not force shield beyond locking point. Doing so may damage light shield.
Freezer (style of light shield varies)
1. Reach behind the light cover.
2. With firm pressure, press forward on the notches at the back of the cover and pull down the cover will open from the back.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Remove light bulb
5. Replace bulb with appliance bulb no greater than 40 watts.
6. Insert front tabs of light cover into slots in freezer liner and snap rear portion over light assembly until rear tab engages.

Need to change the light bulbs

The light shield has two tabs, one on each side. They may be on the front or back of the shield, It fits either way. Pull the tabs down and slide the shield back and forth a couple of time and it should drop from the four pegs that hold it in place. You will have access to the bulbs. You can go to http://www.subzero.com/locator/locator.aspx?type=0&zip=02030 and find a parts distributor near you or take a bulb to the store and match it. Make sure you get the same wattage rating.

Infiniti M35 - change headlight Bulb

Take the wheel off the side with the burnt out bulb. Next pull the 6 plastic rivets out of the front fender well shield. Take the screw out of the shield above the 3 rivets along the inside of the fender edge, Pull the shield back starting at the top where it's tucked under the back portion of the liner shield. Unscrew the top plastic cover, twist the connector counter clockwise and pull it off the bulb. Then unclip the bulb and pull the bulb out noting the groove position for reinstalling the new bulb in the housing. There is nothing simple about your bulb change. The dealer price of the bulb is around $245.00. Don't break the new bulb trying to guess when it's seated properly!
