SOURCE: bissell carpet cleaner not spraying

I bought it brand new. I used it twice. The first use was it worked fine, the second time it wouldn't work, got it serviced for $120, now it won't work again.
You need to service it for $120 everytime you use it!
Solution-never buy anything made by Bissell again.

Just rent a steam cleaner from the supermarket when you need it, it's cheaper than owning one of these crappy lemons, and saves you storage space.

My bissell pro heat pet steam cleaner has mildew in the water bladder. How can I clean that?

a mixture of --napisan or bleach and cold water will kill the growth
only use cold water and rinse thoroughly after treatment
read the user manual first to make sure that bleach is acceptable to use as it may affect the bladder material

Took inner bladder out now won't hold water

Inner bladder is needed to hold the fresh water for spray. Make sure the bladder is pulled through the bottom of the tank and that the black cap with a red rubber seal on the bottom of the tank.

If the black cap is missing you'll need to purchase a new one. Here's a quick link.

How do i fill the water

There is a tank within a tank design on these deep cleaners. Use warm tap water and fill the inner bladder.

The Tank-in-Tank system is designed with a bladder inside for

clean water. As you clean, the bladder will empty. Dirty water

collects in the tank outside the bladder.

I have Bissell 7920. The water is not being

Make sure there is liquid in both the Tank-in-Tank and the SmartMix Bottle and check for spray through the upholstery hose. If the hose does not spray please check the following:

- Remove the belt access door and inspect the pump belt to ensure it is not broken, worn or stretched. You may also check the belt by turning on the power and watching the brush on the bottom of the machine. If the brush rotates the belt is not broken.
- Check for proper placement of the o-ring on the SmartMix Cap Insert (some o-rings are detachable and need to fit over the straw; others are molded to the cap).
- Check for liquid in the base of the machine where the SmartMix Bottle sits (SmartMix Reservoir). If there is no liquid in the reservoir, the neck on the SmartMix Bottle may be undersized, the cap will not make proper contact with the unit and the smart mix bottle will need to be replaced.
- Check for the black or red tank gasket on the SmartMix Bottle Cap and on the bottom of the Tank-in-Tank Assembly. If gasket is lodged in base of unit or has been lost, reattach gasket on auto-load or order new gasket if appropriate.
- Check the valves on the bottoms of the Tank-in-Tank and SmartMix Bottle to make sure water/solution will come through when the "x" valve is depressed. Bladder or SmartMix bottle may be empty or the valve may be blocked internally.
- Check if the small rounded window tabs on the top edge of the Floor Nozzle Window are locked in their mating slots on the base of the machine and not inadvertently lifting the tank up out of place.

Trobble

The tank has a bladder in it, the clean water goes into the bladder, the dirty water will go on the outside of the bladder.
