I have a Zanussi Aquacycle 1100 xc, when I switch it on the the start/pause button keeps flashing constantly, the door light is on, as tho it was locked and there is a clicking sound, as if the door was trying to lock or open. It's as though it is on constant pause and when you shut the door it is constantly locked. It wont open until you switch off the machine. What could the problem be? Do you think it is the door lock mechanism or the pcb board?

faulty fill valve. or tap not switched on correctly if it has the blue tap remove the top of the tap and use pliers to switch it on

door interlock is easy to replace.
undo the plastic clamp that holds door gasket to cabinet. peel back in area of door lock. door lock is held by 2 screws on outside. undo these ans lock comes off. there may also be a small diameter hose as well to door lock which take off as well.
reassembly is just the reverse
