Error code 20 refers to a detected mechanical problem

Error code 30 refers to a detected shutter problem
-Turn the power switch to < ON > to turn on the power.
-Remove and re-install the battery.
-Use a Canon lens.
-If the instructions above do not solve the problem you may need contact your nearest Canon Service Center.

Try alternative settings on the dial, charge the battery, and if all else fails have it serviced.

I just bought a T3i and only used it 2 days of shooting. On third day, it's not turning on and it's 80 degree's. So not cold weather. Batteries are fully charged. When I put batter in and turn the switch on, the red light comes on for only a second and then nothing! Other times the red light won't even come on, period. As I said, I've only had it 3 days and it's dead....

Quantaray makes lenses with a variety of lens mounts. Assuming the lens has a Canon EF mount, it will fit onto the T3i just like any Canon lens. If it has a different mount, you'll need an appropriate lens mount adapter.

Make sure battery is fully charged

Its a DLSR so you can not do any thing at home. You need to visit a canon service center and then they will open the camera and check the circuit board is broken. cracked during dropping or not. And they will repair it.

Try resetting the camera by removing the battery for 20 mins. then replace the battery, power it up and go to the Menu and set the Date & Time.

Register your camera directly with the manufacturer.
