I was having problems connecting with my HBM-730 so I got fed up and deleted it from the list of paired devices and set it back up again using passkey 0000. It works fine now.
To put the LG HBM-730 into pairing mode you must press the MFB for 5-10 seconds from power off. Pairing mode is denoted by the LED glowing solid red. LG has chosen to stick with the default pairing code of '0000'. Using Bluetooth specification 1.2, as is the custom, the HBM-730 supports both headset and handsfree profiles. I found this on the internet and hope it works for you
I found the solution. The original password setting is a combination of zeroes - at least 4. If you did not originally change your password setting for your bluetooth from the original setting - try that. It worked for me.
Step 1 - Enable Bluetooth functionality on the Motorola V3m.
Note: The Bluetooth power must be set to ON position to pair the device.
From the main screen, press Menu [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Settings & Tools.
Scroll to Connections, press [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Bluetooth, press [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Setup, press [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Power XXX, press [Center NavKey].
Scroll to On or OFF, press [Center NavKey].
Step 2 - Put your fully charged Bluetooth headset into pairing mode.
Start with your Bluetooth accessory powered off.
Hold down the power/end key for 5 seconds.
You'll hear a short beep and the LED light turns red.
Your Bluetooth accessory is now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with your handset.
Step 3 - Pair the Motorola V3m with a Bluetooth Accessory.
From the main screen, press Menu [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Settings & Tools.
Scroll to Connections, press [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Bluetooth, press [Center NavKey].
Scroll to Handsfree, press [Center NavKey].
Place accessory in pairing mode. See accessory pairing instructions.
Scroll to Look For Devices, press [Center NavKey].
Phone displays Scanning.
Scroll to XXXAccessory NameXXX, press [Center NavKey].
Phone displays Bond With XXXAccessory NameXXX.
Press Yes [Right SoftKey].
Phone displays Enter Passkey.
Enter 0000, press [Center NavKey]. (See accessory instructions as passcode may vary.)
