How do I convert cfm to scfm

For the Equation to follow the following definitions apply

S = scfm (the answer you want)
P = Barometric pressure in Pounds per square inch when you measured the cfm.
14.696 = standard barometric pressure at sea level

So:

S = P/14.73 x cfm

Example: Denver

Barometric Pressure 11.50 psi
cfm = 5400

S = 11.5 / 14.696 x 5400 = 4225.6 scfm

There was a lot of debate in the Natural gas industry years ago about the Standard barometric pressure value. Some Companies used 14.69 psi and others used 14.73 psi.

If you use natural gas to heat your home this is the same equation used by the gas company to correct for altitude on your bill.

The equation is derived from Boyles Law which is accurate at pressures close to atmospheric pressure.

I need to know how many ton air condenser I need for my house?

400 cfm per ton
1 cfm per square foot

Only calculate living space in home, bedrooms, living area, etc. Do not count hallways, interior closets, etc. Only measure the garage if you are trying to condition that space as well.

If you have an "actual" 7000 sq. ft. home, you will need 17.5 tons.

This is usually achieved with multiple units for a residential building.

Hope this helps!

TEST FOR THE EQUALISER DN360

You are not likely to get the specific test criteria except from the manufacturer diredtly. Also, unless you have accurate testing equipment, you won't be able to confirm the accuracy anyways. Is there a specific problem that you are trying to solve? Realize that each band of the EQ has a cutoff curve and is not a singular frequency adjustment. Perhaps if you describe what you wish to know, we can provide additional details.

Also, can you confirm the make of the unit. I know of a Klark-technic DN360 but not a Koss.

Thanks,
Dan

Hello zombiekilroy,

Since you did not reveal the brand name of the unit you have, it's not possible to get you the specific color code.

Here is a link to the Car Audo Help Guide which has the color codes for many common aftermarket stereos, including Pioneer, Alpine, JVC, Sony, Kenwood, and others.

If you are looking for OEM color codes, they are also located on this site here:
