Brother MFC 3240C Paper Jam Error Message

Hi

I had a paper jam message on the printer and removed the paper. The printer is still saying that there is a paper jam. I have checked all over and there is no paper jammed anywhere, I checked the paper I took out and it is all there so nothing in the printer. I have turned the printer off, unplugged it, disconnected it from the pc, turned the pc off but it is still saying paper jam :( please can anyone help?

If it is not resetting then either there is still something on a sensor or you did something to a sensor by accident.

well have you cleaned the head manually or by using the software thru the pc. if you have done so by hand it may cause aproblem try cleaning using the software and see id that helps.

im assuming you are using regular copy paper, is so fan the paper out before you put it in the printer and also check to see if the roller inside the printer are clean. they pull the paper threw the machine.
