Just sign up and request to keep your phone number. By law, you are allowed to keep your phone number.

SOURCE: where do I get a verizon phone extremely cheap or free I'm in a two year contract still have a year and a half to go have to keep same phone number

If you're willing to move from Verizon to another carrier, investigate moving to TMobile. They're offering a promotion where they will move your phone number to their system AND pay thE disconnect fee to get you out of your Verizon contract. They also have some offers including very inexpensive phones.
here is an example of a $0 phone offer.
Of course you must commit to a 2 year contract with TMobile.

I won't to change phone and keep my number and min. i won't to activating a phone and change my phone now over to the new oneand keep my num. and time

the word ' won't ' is a contraction of 'will not'.

I will not to change phone and keep my number and min. I will not to activating a phone and change my phone now over to the new one and keep my number and time

The word you are looking for is 'want', *to wish to*. I have already answered your question, so the English lesson is free.

You need to contact the company that you want to get the new phone from and ask if you can transfer the number from your current phone and provider.

Minutes can only be transferred is using the same company and the same plan, HOWEVER, on a new phone, there is a monthly part payment that is paying for this new phone unless you are buying it outright? In such cases of 24 monthly payments on the contract, they will say your old contract is finished, you have lost your accumulated minutes.

On pay as you go, with the same company, you might get away with keeping the minutes.

I already have a phone number. I also have an active account that should be about ready to expire. I simply want to renew it so that I can keep my phone active to make and receive calls Help!

Hi Ronald,

All cell carriers that I've ever heard of are happy to keep you under contract - you just have to contact them to let them know at the end of the contract - if yours is not the type that automatically converts you to a "month to month" customer (no contract). This is not necessarily a bad thing! In most cases, you can keep using the device & service under the terms of your old contract. Things (cost, amount of talk / text / data) generally change only when you sign up as per the terms of a *new* agreement. This also when you are offered a subsidized price for a new device. If you're happy with your current device and would rather not have to go out of pocket at all to buy another - or if the amount of talk / text / data is is better under your existing plan - why sign up again? Continue as a month to month customer and you're free to sign a contract with them (or anyone else for that matter) at a time that YOU want whether due to lost or stolen device, better terms in a new contract being offered, etc..

Many carriers answer calls made from the cell phone that are placed to *611 (Star 6 1 1) and they should be able to help you navigate your current contract and new one - if needed. Otherwise, check your carrier's invoice, refill minutes card or website for contact telephone numbers or locations to learn about your contract.

Good luck!

My daughter dropped her new windows phone down the toilet we are under a contract with orange the phone wont work now so what can i do

Hi there, Unfortunately there's not much you can do. All phones have a moisture indicator, so your daughters phone will not be able to go back for a warranty repair now that the indicator has changed. Your best bet is to try and find a cheap phone or someones old phone and let her use that until she can do an upgrade. To buy a phone from Orange without a contract will be very, very expensive and not worth it. You can call Orange and try and convince them to give you a loner, but I would not be hopeful. Good luck! I bought my daughter a go phone for christmas and it has had a service detached message 3 times. I have taken the battery out to reset, but the time in between is getting less. Why is it doing this? I do...

Whether you have a contract or mot the provider of your service still has it in their best interest to help. I have my phone without a contract through t-mobile and they treat me very good and help when i have an issue, Regardless of a contract you will be able to get help with your daughters phone pretty easy.
