My biz hub 350, copier, makes a few copies and then stops,displays a message, "pull out this tray and close it again"

Make sure if you put the ADF corectly. Also check the cables, and the switch on the ADF.

Utility-Metercount-Details-STOP-0-0-Stop-0-1-press 00000000 press Enter in Tech. mode select Printer than select ATDC gain and read the ATDC current value.If the value is situate 150-160 increase the value to 164-174 (to change the value press C and entering the new value)return in the copy mode turn OFF the copier open the rigy door than close and turn ON the copier and make a few copies.If the error persist discrease the ATDC value and make some copies.If the code persist change the developer .Before change the developer reset the special parts counter I/U counter,developer.After change the developer perform F8 and verify the new value to ATDC gain and notice.

You could try removing tray 1 to clean the pick up and feed rollers with rubbing alcohol or soapy water, just make sure they are completely dry before trying to make a copy. Hope this helps. To remove tray 1, pull the tray out until it stops. Then lift up on front side of the tray and it will release from the machine. The feed rollers are towards the right.

This is going to sound funny, but that error is usually caused by a jam in the finishing portion, which probably you pulled out since that would be on the tray. Often you can reset that stuff simply by opening the door where you replace the toner. When you close it up again, the unit resets itself.
