HoMedics SC380 scales - Homedics Health & Beauty

The HoMedics digital scale SC-300 uses a CR2032 lithium coin cell battery. This battery has a diameter of 20mm and a thickness of 3.2mm, which makes it a small, flat battery that can easily fit into the scale.

That means that the scale cannot calibrate itself. When it turns on it checks the sensors to see if they are in range. It cannot find the sensors or they are out of range.

Page 2 says the scales require a 3 volt CR2032 lithium battery. These can probably be found wherever batteries are sold - WalMart, Target, etc.

Check to make sure you inserted the batteries correctly the plus signs should be up. If that doesn't work I reccomend contacting homedics customer support as something is worng with the scale that you cannot fix there is a lifetime limited warranty on the product so its better to let them try to fix the problem.

I had the same problem. However, you can request its manual to customer service, [email protected]. I received the manual in a few days via email.

Sounds like a warranty issue. I would try to return to place of purchase if not here is web address on manufactures site with instructions on warranty.
