Will my Braun electric toothbrush work in Canada?

I had the same problem at the beginning of the year. I think i had bought 3 electric tooth brushes and all seemed to cave in within a couple of weeks. My friend recommended going to Macy's to buy one, which I did and it is still going strong. Maybe you charged it for a very long period of time and it overheat the system circuit? I'm not sure but I would recommend getting a new toothbrush.

Your electrical socket may be wrongly wired, with polarity mixed up. Try another socket. Also, some electric toothbrushes need to be "off" to successfully charge. Maybe the flasing red light for 10 seconds is telling you the toothbrush is "on" and not accepting charge.

A. the stopping when in charger is normal. (have one myself)
B. the sudden starting could be signs of a short-circuit (possibly caused by electronic metal-fatigue)

Buy new one.

If you look closely, it doesn't much matter, because they are all twisted together when it is reassembled. Mine had two on the center and one on each end.

You can try dryer power port, it's 220V, and you have to buy a adapter to replace the port on the wall accord with your Braun, or to buy a transformer (110 - 220).
