Question about Chime Home
Try to carefully remove the minute hand entirely from the clock then put it back in the "proper" place. for example, when it strikes at the six, remove the minute hand and put it back on pointing at the 12. Then re-set the time for half-past (or maybe quarter-till the hour by now! lol)

Take the batteries out from the base, where the chime mechanism is. Wait till it gets close (20 seconds till) to a specific hour time, like 8:00 or 9:00, replace the batteries for the chime mechanism. And then count the chimes at the hour. If they are correct, you are set. If they are incorrect, turn the time back 15 minutes before the hour and bring it right back and monitor the chimes again. Hopefully this should fix it. Please post the results.

If your clock has a small hole between 4 and 5 then you can turn off the quarter hours chimes using the small part of the key. If your clock does not have that small hole you can not turn off the quarte hor chimes.
