SOURCE: Audio feedback

Hi , If your still having problems with your C110, try Double clicking on the volume control speaker in the task bar in the lower - right corner of your desktop. When the volume control box opens , check the mute box on the line in control . I also mute the mic, and the phone line control if you have one . See how that works for you. I really notice the feed back when I use headphones.

How do i program a motorola GP3188

The Motorola GP3188 is programmable using Motorola CPS software, cable and RIB (radio interface box). The software is proprietary to Motorola and can only be obtained by authorized dealers and other qualifying entities such as Municipalities and/or large companies. The simplest method to get your radios programmed would be to visit your local Motorola dealer or send them to a service center via UPS/FedEx/etc

I bought walkie talkies with 56 km radius and yet we are lucky to reach each other after approx. 1 mile, any idea why we don't get the range

You do not mention the particular model of Motorola, so this answer will be generic in nature. Some Motorola TalkAbout radios have been factory programmed with a few GMRS repeater frequencies. These channels require the use of a repeater tower, which will 'repeat' what you say over a greater distance. It is possible you have this type of radio. Check your user guide, and then set your radio to the appropriate channel for the repeater in your area.

Radio-to-radio without the use of a repeater you can expect up to 2 miles line-of-sight out of most handheld radios. This distance is reduced by obstacles such as buildings, trees, etc. inbetween the radios. It can also be reduced if you do not hold the antenna of the radio perpendicular to the ground.

Where can I find an authorized repair center for Motorola Walkie Talkies near Pensacola, FL 32505?

I work for the authorized motorola dealer for pensacola, but i work in another branch. Typically we do not service the "walkie talkie" line that motorola makes. For those, you should contact motorola directly. Here is their contact link:

When i try To walkie-talkie it wont work

They do not have signal to receive the walkie talkie service. Try texting them and telling them to get in an area where they can get better service. Walkie Talkie coverage is very spotty.

Walkie talkie batteries don't last

What you have been using are consumer grade walkie talkies. The rechargeable battery packs in them should last a full business day, unless you are in a high use area. This being said, it is also possible you might need to replace the rechargeable battery pack as they usually have just a one year life expectancy. As they start to fail they will go less and less time in a day.

To answer your question about a radio which will go a full business day, any of the business division Motorola handheld radios would work. Radios such as the CP110, BPR40, CP185, and CP200 are all make to go a full day and sometimes more. Their battery packs depending on chemistry would also need to be replaced every 18-24 months.

Motorola T5700 Talkabout Series

Hi,

It would seem that this is a problem with the contact/switch of your Motorola T5700. When a headset, ear piece or external speaker is plugged in, an internal switch transfers the connection from the speaker to the external. This is better illustrated in the image below.

525cab1.jpg

Initially, you can try an electronic contact cleaner. If that doesn't work, you may have to open the unit and manually scrape off any corrosion from the contacts/terminals or slightly bent it to improve contact.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turn up or should you need addition al information.

Good luck and kind regards.
