Fuser Error. Check fuser thermistor. reset fuser error. Go to Service Mode press 1 0 7 , clear/stop , 1 copy, 5 mode, ok, 810, ok, change to 1, press half tone and ok simultaneously. fax will rebook automatically and fuser error is reset.
try executing sp 5810
if there is no 5810 just turn machine off while in sp mode using the red on/off switch
This should clear the code
however if there is a problem with your fuser the code will come back.
Caution dont reset multiple times in a row or you will do damage to the machine or fuser from it getting too hot
Fuser error.....Either blown fuse, bad thermistor, or blown lamp. Problem needs to be repaired, and then a WAY over complicated reset procedure has to be performed in service mode to clear the error.
This is a fuser error. Most probably the thermostat is open. !st try to clear the error code like so:
Press these keys : Function 61995 Yes 0 6
Then press 0 for RAM reset.
Enter address 4805AF right arrow and set the data to 00
Switch machine off and then power on. If the error code re-appears after 30 sec, then change the thermostat and service the fuser. Do the re-set thingy again.
