I have an Ideal Logic+ Combi C30 fitted 2 months ago. I also have a Hive thermostat and Receiver. I have had no problems until 3-4 days ago when the boiler failed to fire up for central heating. We have hot water on demand no problem. The screen on the face of the boiler shows a message 'room stat or timer off'. But the thermostat is working as it should and seems OK. Any fixes?
Isconnect from the hive ,it has been known the hive thrmostat fails on ideal boilers.

SOURCE: a trickle of hot water from taps, central heating ok
it sounds like your shut off valve might be bad even though it turns on and off by turing it doesn't mean that the washer is not stuck to the seat and not opening, try replacing the valve

check tops of spindles at radiator valves for leaks easy repaired set pressure to .8bar setting at 1.5 may be make overpressure and blow off through high/pressure releasese valve

SOURCE: I have a Heatslave 12/14 oil-fired combi boiler
Symptoms sound like crossover might be part of problem:
Crossover is when cold water enters hot water line due to faulty plumbing part like check valve, mixing valve, or bad faucet cartridge.
