I have alpine 235ebt.background colour is blue. Want to change it to orange. There is no option on the display. How do I change it

Turn it over on your lap or on something soft like couch or carpet. Karate it chop it on the apple logo. Start softly and keep using more force. Folks have even used a hammer to do this but I don't advise it. You can also drop it face down on carpeted floor. Your ipad is likely stunned and needs to be stunned again to return to normal.

Theres a standard amongst most stereos, so if these colors apply, then you will be right,
Red is Ignition power
orange is direct power
Black is earth
blue is for phone
White is for electric arial
then there will be four coloured wires with matching color trace wires, these are the speaker wires.

If it is still under warranty call dell asap. Normally that is the LCD going bad or the video card, which is built in on the motherboard. Usually there is nothing a home user can do with this problem. LCD's are not too hard to change but the Motherboards can be a real bear.

Its IE 8 which has a separate picture for background and the rest. Best option is to use IE 7 of Firefox which has no problems of this nature.................sodeep

Usually this problem is a simple one to find out.Are you wires working correctly.If they are not,open up the box and,if you are a professional so I dont get sued for some accident,try to splice the wires back.If your not a pro take it to the retailer and have it fixed.If it is not the wires,I would check your color settings option in the DVD options menu.Check your red blue green balance and make sure they are correct.

If you have xp and open the display,at the bottom click on advanced and you graph hardware page should come up, look through all the tabs until you find res, hope this helps, if not please post back your OS and what happened with what you tried and everyone is more then happy to help you more.

no with this unit you are stuck with the amber color that is on it.. there is no way to change the color sorry for the bad news

go into control panel, display settings and hit 'dafault', should return you to a generic screen. seems like an old model check monitor plugs and video card.
