When i put songs on my philips gogear sa 3125 it turns off after at leats 56 songs, and then when i plug it out it says memory corrupted and there is no space on it
Re: all songs wont go on,then memory gets corrupted
I think the flash memory is defective. if you have still warranty on your device bring it to your dealer. if not, you could try to format the players memory. go to my computer, right click on the device and use the option format. data format should be fat32. you do this on your own risk.

go to magnovox.com and dowload root software delete all files on the gogear the add software to the root menu in the gogear this will reset it to default you will loose your songs but fix the problem
First try opening the gogear device and click on music right after the welcome screen. Select either "All Songs", "Artists" or "Albums" to find your songs. If you downloaded your songs, they should display on the screen of philips gogear, then you can select them to play on your headphones
Only some audio formats (.mp3 .wav and .wma will be play on philips gogear SA 3020/37)
I wouldn't format it. If you are having problems, run a Repair in Philips Device Manager. If you are getting format errors, then the songs you are trying to load are not compatible with the player - if you download songs that are in true mp3 format, then you will not get any format errors.
Get the software from www.usasupport.philips.com - Use Windows Media Player to transfer and delte songs from your player. Older GoGear's (HDD models) require Windows Media Player 10. Most SA models are fine with Windows Media Player 11.
You have to hold the button in for about 5-7 seconds, and then it will say "Bye" and shut off normally. If it won't shut off because it has frozem, then reset the device. If it continues to freeze, run a "Repair" in the Philips Device Manager:
Recovery
Mode for Philips' GoGear Open
the Philips Device Manager (Start à
All Programs à Philips Digital
Audio Player à SAXXX à Philips Device Manager) and
click on the “Repair” tab. Then click on
the “Repair” button to start the repair process. Most of the time, when your player is in that
state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged
in.If this is the case: Disconnect the
player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the
volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while
holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds
until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your
device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this
procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will
have to be reloaded. -Tha Mp3 Doctor
Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution. 1) Back up all files on the GoGear 2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) 3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button 4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard). You must do a firmware upgrade to resolve this issue. Open Philips Device Manager (Go to Start--> all Programs--> Philips...), and click on Update tab OR You can get it from www.usasupport.philips.com It will delete all songs off your player, so be forewarned Enter your model number on the website, click the link on next page that says SA 5125/37 w/o a "b" on the end Click on Software and drivers tab Click on firmware upgrade software - instructions enclosed -Tha Mp3 Doctor
