if you have already tried "code search" then you may have to return that remote and get a different name brand of universal remote.

I would suggest trying each of the four 'provider' codes listed in the Etec User Manual pdf - on your Jasco remote. I'm attaching an image of these codes from the pdf below.

I have two universal remotes, one is a RCA and the other is GE. I am looking for the codes to program one of the two to replace my original dvd remote.

I need the 3 digit code for ge universal remote model RC24912-A for sony dvd player

Code lists and manuals for GE remotes are available from http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/universal-remote-codes.asp . The 3-digit code list is here: http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/download-files/RemoteCode-3-Digit.pdf . The Sony DVD player codes to try are 166, 320, 321, 322, 361, 389, 399, 909 . (Sony DVD recorders may use 302, 321, 322.)

However, the codes programmed into a universal remote are limited to those for devices released 6 months or more before the remote was programmed. If your DVD player is newer than your remote, you may need a newer universal remote.

I need the code for a ge dvd player my remote is a ge jc021

The codes are, 403,409,430,0409,0430, Step 1. Turn on DVD, STEP 2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH or SETUP button until the LED light comes on,then release it. 3. Press and release the DVD button, the LED will blink and remain on, 4. enter one of the three or four digit code, the LED will go off, 5. aim the remote at the DVD and press the POWER button,the DVD should turn off, if not try steps 1-5 again using a different code.....hope this helps...
