Hi, If tv shuts off and turns back On itself than lamp is weak and need to be replaced. If tv shuts off but does not turns On itself than you will see red light blinking on tv front, let me know how many times it blinks, there would be pause of 3 seconds in blinks so count pause to pause and post here to provide you helpful info about problem.
