By default, android apps are updated automaticly. Open Play Store, enter in main menu (3 parallel lines on the top left corner of the screen), Choose "Settings" and then choose "Auto-update apps". And then choose "Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only".

Once you are connected to the wifi, go to settings and do a systems update. If there is an update, then it will update to the newer version.

How do i run a system check on a android LG phone?

To check for OTA updates for your phone, go into settings scroll down to about phone update check will be at the top. If your referring to error check like you would a PC there's no such thing for an android device not even over ADB (Android Data Bridge). If your having issues clear your app cache in recovery options, if that doesn't fix the issues uninstall any task killers you might have or recent apps apps installed. There are system health check apps you can download off googleplay that will give you a health report of your device.

Apps updates

It depends on the app. If the app has updates, most of the time it will automatically update when in reach of the internet. If you are looking for apps I came across this website:

Pull the battery out of your Android phone if an app freezes while you are using it. Reinsert the battery after one minute. Replace the battery cover and restart the phone. Launch the app again.

Check whether your phone's data connection is active if the app is data-dependent. Touch "Menu," and then tap "Settings." Touch "Wireless & Networks," and then tap "Mobile Networks." If the "Data Enabled" field is not checked, touch it to enable it. Launch the app again.

    • 3
Verify that the app is up-to-date. Touch "Market" from the phone's home screen. Press "Menu" on your phone and touch "My Apps." Scroll down to the "Not Installed" section. If the app has an available update, touch the app. Tap "Update," and then touch "Accept and Download." Wait for the update to complete, then launch the app.

Candy Crush Saga won't connect to Facebook to sync

I never could connect on my android 2.3 phone, but then I read something online about needing to uninstall and re-install the facebook app on the phone... the facebook app came with my phone, and my phone would not let me uninstall it! I WENT TO THE GOOGLE PLAY STORE AND SEARCHED FACEBOOK. When it came up, it had the option to update my facebook app, so I updated it, after that CANDY CRUSH CONNECTED TO FACEBOOK NO PROBLEM... go figure... my phone has automatically updated the facebook app several times, but the candy crush app would never connect until I updated the app manually using the google play store... Bizare!

Where are you downloading apps from, the phone/tablet or on a PC? Have you setup a gmail account on your phone yet? A gmail account is required to register the phone/tablet on the android market.

How to transfer my apps to my memory card ? my memory id full ! samsung galaxy europa.

Hi, In order for you to transfer your applications into your memory card, your phone needs to be upgraded from an Android 2.1 version (Eclair) into Android version 2.2 (Froyo). The Froyo version incorporates the installation of apps into the memory card, among other things. As far as I know, there is no official update yet for your phone to be upgraded to Froyo but Samsung assured that there will be one very soon. The update should be in the Kies software that you use for your phone to sync with your computer. Just let the software check for any updates via internet connection. In any case, do check android forums to get updates and tips regarding this topic. One such forum is this link: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-europa-5/249130-froyo-update-samsung-i5500.html
I hope this information is helpful.
