Have you heard anything about this?

when xp did their update the other day i lost my monitor. i have no picture and the on/off light keeps blinking. i tried rebooting several times, but that didn't work. i tried a different cable and that didn't work. can you give me any other suggestions?

Hey, I haven't figured out the solution yet but my Dell monitor has the Exact same symptoms and guess when it happened? During my last Windows update! (around Nov 13 or so?). Please let me know if you find anything out and I will do likewise.

Umm, it's not the video card - and the blinking light is green.

I've seen postings about transistors going bad inside these monitors . . . is that a possibility?

My monitor was fine, ran a game that I was running yesterday, got a message that it wouldn't load because the screen res wasn't available. Carried on in IE, restarted the PC after a software update and no screen. Power light is amber. Hooked up an analogue monitor to the other io socket and is fine. Unplugged digital monitor and it ran self check. Updated graphics driver from Dell site.I assume monitor is fine but isn't talking to the PC. Tried going back to an earlier system point but it won't complete the process. Any ideas?

Hi, try the monitor on another PC , if you got a laptop you try it , to see if it is the monitor . The problem could the video card on your PC., let me know if the light is yellow or green.

Hi , if the light is green, then the problem is the logic board, inside the monitor.

Removed is not a guarantee, but to report him you simply go to their home page, go under their "Friends" box and click on "Report/Block this person".

I think you can literally call the non emergency police line in your town and report it. You should also make screen shots of this abuse.

With the abuse on the screen where you can see it press Ctrl Alt Print Screen and that makes a copy of the screen.

Then you have to paste it to Microsoft Word or Word Pad or Microsoft Paint. Save it and that is your evidence. You can send this to facebook admins as well. You should have all your friends report everything the users posted and the users themselves too so that hopefully they get permanently blocked from using facebook.

Try using the ff buttons and the reverse buttons on the player itself. That might have a scene selection option to it.

The company that made these players went of business in November. Wal Mart is exchanging them if anything goes wrong with them.

All at once my dash lights showed me problems with my brakes and battery.
However, I found a loose wire on the battery which I fixed, and that didn't solve the problem.
I also noticed that my head ligjhts don't come on automatically when I start the engine, nor do my high beams come on.

Monitor goes Black off and on .....

I had the same problem for about a week and solved it yesterday by downloading the latest driver by NVDIA who makes my video card (NVDIA GeForce 6200).
I had previously updated the latest Sony driver for the monitor. It did not solve the problem but could be part of the solution in conjunction with the new video card driver.

your friend is right you require pal system to run tv properly.

on the back side of your tv there might be switch pal/ntsc

if that system change over switch is not there then you are helpless
