Well, my blitz has water damage, & i was letting it dry, & it was coming around fine. eventually it was working as good as new. then all of the sudden, it shuts back off. when i turn it on now, i get the verizon screen, & then it flashes to a black screen & very tiny at the top in white, it says: Please wait,User data is being restored. Yet it just shuts back off & does this over & over again until i take the battery back out. Can someone help ?

Try this :
This works on most mini electronic devices like cellular phones and degital cameras etc .

it sounds crazy .

Remove the back (or Cover ) of the phone( or Camera ), battery, and SIM if your phone ( or Device ) uses one , DIRECTLY
.

Then, with a q-tip (or something similar), dab the connection points (shiny, goldish) on the battery, SIM, and phone. This should aid in drying.

Finally, place all contents in a bag of uncooked rice (separately, do not put back together just yet). it sounds crazy , but it draws the moisture out.

It normally is working after just 7-8 hours, but I would wait 12 hours or even 24 hours before attempting to use (just to be sure).

beware the water damage, despite being dry now, will void any warranties. Also, the phone's hardware is now weakened and if you drop it, the green mother board and circuitry could shatter - so be more careful.

This does work on electronic devices aside from phones as well. Simply tailor it to your device. If you do not have a SIM (Verizon phones, cameras, all others), remove only the battery. If you have an iPhone/iPod or GPS and cannot remove the battery, simply make sure it is all the way off, then put it in the rice bag. All electronic devices react the same to the rice trick.

Milwaukee brushless drill / driver (2801-20) that will not work it fell into water

If the circuit board is damaged, you can contact the manufacturer and possibly get a new circuit board. It would be good news if it were under warranty --maybe.

Immediately after immersion and retrieving it, one might try blow drying it (or drying it with a heater). But you can't let it sit around and dry on its own. Chances are, you are fated to get another drill.

Everything is working except the LED screen which is blank. Possible water damage from rain. Any solutions?

First thing to do whenever you suspect water damage is to take the batteries out, open as many doors and caps as possible, and let the device dry out for 2-3 times as long as you suspect it should take. Sometimes in humid environments you can put the device in a container and dump in some clean dry rice. Cover it and let the dry rice pull some of the moisture out. Don't let rice get in the camera :) As a last resort, you can disassemble the camera as far as you feel comfortable, then dump some denatured alcohol in and around the screen to help flush out the water and possibly clean any residue left on contacts by the drying water. After this, again let the camera dry out completely before even reassembling. If it still doesn't work, it may be time to get a new camera. Good luck!

Dishwasher works fine except that after the drying cycle, water slowly builds up in the bottom of the dishwasher. It did this a few years ago for several months, but then it stopped doing it altogether. ...

Hello,
This would mean that the dishwashers water valve has failed. This is a simple repair to make yourself. The lower access panel would need to be removed, four screws. You can purchase the part from the link below.

Hi. I have seen batteries before that have dried out. Once this happens, they are just about kaput.
There are not many machines around now with "wet " batteries such as these. The sealed lead acid and gel batteries are sealed. When the batteries are being charged, these batteries maintain an internal pressure of 1 to 2 pounds per square inch. This recombines the gases back into water in the cells.
But you must use the charger supplied with the machine, as over charging will cause the battery to vent gases and eventually dry out.

The loose wires on the controller need to be a firm fit. If the terminals are damaged, it pays to fit new ones.

Most likely to be the batteries causing the fault. See if you can borrow a couple of reasonable batteries to try. This will let you know if there is any other faults.
Good luck. Neil.

Is amp any good after being in the water?

Sorry, not very likely. The water causes electricity to run in areas it is not supposed to and usually destroys the unit.
A possible solution,
if the power has not been applied,
if the power was not on when it got wet, ever,
if it is less than a week since it got wet,
the unit could be taken a part, washed with clean water and a soft brush (Don't damage any small parts!) Dry the BARE circuit board over a home forced air vent for two or three days, then reassemble with new HEATSINK compound and try it. Chances are 20% it will work.
Modern electronics does NOT like water.

Crown D-150 Amp

Sounds like something was spilled into the amp and it got into the controls, switch and switch knob. As for the knob, lean the amp forward about 45 degrees and dribble hot water into the space behind the knob slowly. Try to keep the water from going inside the amp. Eventually, the knob should come off with some pulling & twisting. Once you get it off, replace both pots and the switch. If water gets into the amp just dry it up with paper towels, etc. and let it continue to dry while getting the new parts. HTH, Emory
