Razr charge My Razr goes dead even turned off. I bought it on e-bay new but didn't use it for some time. Now it's too late to get them to replace it. I've heard this is a common problem. Can I get Motorola to fix it? Or is there something I can do? Thanks Nancy

You must not have read the full post. I purchased a new battery and a new charger. Neither helped. The phone will charge (or says it's charged) but runs down very quickly...even dies within a day or so when turned off. The phone must be draining the battery but how do I get that fixed?

Not sure if you mean your phone dies even after charged, if so you have a battery problem, just replace, or let me know if you need any further help.

My razr v3 died yesterday. tried all night charging, still dead. no juice to turn on. bought 2 years ago, worth new battery?

Well... I would say no.. Not worth battery.. I had the same thing happen to me where my phone wouldn't charge and we bought a new battery for $50.00 and then we find out my phone is shot.. so I would strongly recommend getting a new phone..

Razr phone

Hi,
I have done some research for you and can't seem to find anything other then a number to call. I know you said you put a new battery in so please make sure it is making a connection in your phone. I am wondering if there isn't a good connection and maybe this is why it isn't recharging for you. Normally when a battery goes dead it is just a matter of charging it for a few hours and it will be fine. Here is the number to call for service questions. Best wishes.....I hope you can retrieve you pictures.

Razor battrey

Did the phone show it was charging on the display? Was the charger firmly connected to the phone? The batteries will go bad after a period of time of recharge cycles. I have bought replacement batteries for my RAZR on eBay. Remove the battery and do a search on eBay for a NEW battery from a dealer using the battery P/N on the battery. I found a higher capacity battery for mine that lasts even longer on a charge than the original one that came with my RAZR. You can do a search on eBay for "RAZR battery". Look at the mAH rating on your battey, Try finding a replacement with the same or higher rating than your original. The higher the mAH rating, the longer it will last between recharge cycles.

Good luck!

Motorola razr battery problem

The only solution is to get a new battery. When you do, charge it completely when you first get it, then discharge it until it dies. This will maximize the life of the battery.
