Matching wires from Seaworthy Marine Radio to Clarion M109

I am replacing the Seaworthy radio with the Clarion M109. I have both schematics and I was able to match most wires (not always by color) and I was able to determine the excluded (Brown for phone mute and bluewhite for amplifier turn on lead) however, I do not see a match for a yellow wire with a 3 amp fuse (bus power lead) and an orange for illumination.

I am also concerned as I matched all other wires by description from the Seaworthy to the Clarion and have no wires going directly to a battery or ground (they match in the connectors), is that ok?

Radio works on tech bench, not in the boat

Yes, the yellow wire is the switched hot lead - it is typically connected in one way or another to the ignition switch. There is also a smaller gauge red wire that is connected directly to the battery (through a fuse of course). Both of these wires have to have power for the radio to work. Also the black wire has to be connected to a good ground. If all three of these wires are confirmed to be in good order (power where there should be power, ground where there should be ground and no shorts) the radio should at least power up when they are all hooked up and the ignition is on.
