I have a GLEH16242 Frigidaire/Electrolux stacking washer/dryer. The main bearing went out on the washer. Other than that it worked fine. I did the expensive fix of replacing the outer drum/bearing assembly in hope of nothing going wrong. Everything went together well, but now it won't go into high speed spin. It does if I have no clothes in it, but as soon as I introduce clothes it only does the 'medium spin' but never advances to the high. I've changed shocks, confirmed the door switch is working properly and double checked level. Even placed it on a big thick sheet of plywood in hops of stabilizing it more. It does have a wobble to it when it starts spinning, but when it kicks into medium spin, is smooths out.

sounds like the bearings need replaced, when replacing bearings you need to replace all of them to ensure proper function and life longevity.
I have read that if the pump is not draining the tub completely, there is an interlock that prevents the high speed spin from engagin. I have had debris caught in my pump several times (kids!!) with similar issues. There is a trap on the line leading from the tub to the pump which is "supposed" to capture debris, but it doesn't work all that well. Check your pump.....

Thinking of 2 things either the transmission is out or the clutch is burnt out and the drum basket and possibly the drive shaft broken as well. Prices vary greatly by how many of these things are broken but should run between 100-200 including labor.

Most fans have a small rectangular multi-tap capacitor connected to the speed control in the fan. It is likely that this has gone partially bad. The capacitance values are printed on it. Lighting stores and big box hardware stores generally carry replacements.

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
