As I was factory resetting my phone, the battery became exhausted and the power connector stopped supplying current. Now my phone wont charge, it just says "Battery Low" and thats it. What can I do?

Check the charger. And not every USB outlet can supply enough power to charge batteries. Then check the cable and the connectors, on both the charger and the camera. Something must stop the current to flow.

King, many times this happen, don't worry, put your device on charge 2 to 5hours it will solved, if problem persist, change battery, because this sounds me a only battery problem. there is one another way (if you are not sure don't try this) we call that direct charging
first take one charger who has light on head and then cut the charging connector of charger and then you will see two colours of wires separate the black and red wires (red wire is positive line and black is negative line) and then connect to current supply but make sure there wire are separated otherwise it will have a short circuit and then take battery and search + and - connector and then red wire connect on battery positive connector and black on negative connector if you connect properly you will see the charging light are getting dim. that mean it is charging, do direct charge for 10 min and then switch on your device with battery and put in charge normally. this will solve your problem. if my sugetion was helpful please rate it.

Yes, you are probably right. A short within the camera could make it "un-startable. Take it to a local electronist or a Canon dealer and they will help you solve this problem. Also check if the batteries are good and fully charged. Some new batteries could be faulty from the factory.

Replace the battery, or find a company (there's one in Seattle) that will "open" the battery-case, remove the dead batteries, and install new batteries, close the battery-case, and ship the "refurbished" battery back to you -- they are less-expensive than buying a "new" & "factory" battery.

It is possible you have two dud batteries. Recharageable batteries have a limited life, they have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles.
With the battery removed and only the power supply connected and the laptop powered up, when you touch the connector on the laptop and the laptop does not shut down then the laptop connector is OK.

If you can verify your new battery is OK the the fault could be the power supply adapter, if may not produce enought current to run and charge the battery. Try charging the battery overnight by turning off the laptop and leaving on the mains t charge. Borrow a mains adapter and test it on your computer.

You can also check the BIOS setting for power management, ie. hibernate, low power shut down etc.

Cable or connector faulty? Or your current usb port cannot supply the current needed to charge the player. You could try a externally powered usb hub to see if it will charge. Or borrow a car usb charging adapter with cable and plug that in the player to see if it will charge. It might even be a dead player/battery.

You should use the original Samsung supply since it is a switching power supply capable of supplying the needed current to operate the onboard charging circuit. Many customers have tried to go with generic supplies and it opens the inline chemical fuse due to the unit drawing heavy current during battery charging. Hope this helps.
