Is there any way that i can unlock a Hyundai TV without its remote?

ok this totally stressed me out but I figured it out and my TV is ON!! I purchased a really cheap universal remote at a .99 cent store. Sat in front of the TV and followed the directions on the manual for my new remote, keep in mind there was a red light lit on the TV, when all directions on connecting the remote with the TV were complete I pressed on and the TV turned on. I hope this helps!!!!!

Tv locked; can't unlock with remote even though we have the original manual

I had the same problem with my hyundai hf2215 tv. Hold down the DISP button on the remote for at least 30 seconds and the lock comes off and tv returns to normal.
