Question about Health & Beauty

Browning BPR 22 mag has bent mechanism housing so scope doesn't line up. Can I heat it below barrel bush without removing barrel and press?

Worried about scale, pressing too far and temper - metal is thin and barrel fit critical.

No it would be a very bad idea unless you are willing to take the chance of turning it into scrap metal
take it to a gunsmith for a inspection and repair quote if possible

Testimonial: "Thanks. Of course you are right. But that's what it was having been run over by a truck from end to end and I have got it to this point - beautiful but doesn't eject or fire occasionally and scope zero doesn't hold long although its got an old scope while mount is out 5 mm by barrel end and I wanted to work through again from basics."

Simmons 3*9 22 MAG scope

I bought one SIMMONS 3*9 MAG 22 riffle scope from USA last month in $54 and fixed it on my .22 riffle with proper instruction. When I shooted 2-3 bullets, its + sign is moved from actual target.

I made the target and + again in sync and after shooting 3-4 bullets, its + changed the position. After consulting with some mechanic, he told me the SIMMONS telescope is manufactured in China and its acuracy is not upto the mark. He was advocating me to buy bushnell scope for my riffle.

Now I am confused and not able to identify how to fix this + movement problem in my scope.

Can anyone please help me on this ????

Your reply is very much anticipated.

Thanks !!

Do they make a trigger kit for a pk380?

Not sure what you mean by "trigger kit", but if you mean how to reduce the lbs of trigger pull, several companies off spring kits.

Here's an example:

What is a browning bar 30-06 worth

By your serial number this is a 1968. Without knowing it's condition it's impossible to say. Does it have the engraved Deer in steel receiver, genuine walnut stock and forearm with diamond pattern cut checkering? So many things to consider. I would just take it to your local dealer and ask for a written appraisal. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Browning BAR fires a round reloads next round but will not fire it. no firing pin hits on primer of 2nd shot

Check that the bolt is completely closed/engaged. If you are using reloads run them through a checker to see if they are sized correctly.

Loss of focus when izoom in

This typically means that you are have exceeded the scopes ability to focus at the distance that you are shooting. This scope is optimized for 50 yards and will function well at all magnification settings. Closer than this optimal distance the higher magnifications may present problems with blurring. Many scopes have a "parallax" adjustment that changes the optical focus to correct this problem. Several of my 22 mag scopes have this adjustment on the objective bell. You simply set the indicator line on the appropriate yardage indicator (making minor adjustments to fine tune focus). Hope this helps
