A common mistake with this type of setup can make for a frustrating solution, until you realize how silly and simple it is.. I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say you have this system connected to your tv through an HDMI cable, correct? If so, please nod! So here is where the fun comes in, depending on what you may have been watching on your tv that particular day, the volume level is bound to fluctuate, because of a little know fact that not all tv channels use the same sound output level as others... Ooo you've learned something new, pat yourself on the back and here is your simple solution. Next time your watch a dvd on your system turn the volume on your tv up up up, and down down down, some times there is a slight lag from the audio being played on your tv speakers than on your surround speakers. So when in doubt, just turn your tv speakers all the way down! :) enjoy
