Can you direct me to an exploded diagram of the starter on my 1994 60hp even rude motor

Note the diagram. Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. For starter motor testing, pull starter relay, use jumper wire on switch side of relay, left side in diagram, cavities for terminals 87 and 30. The starter motor should crank the engine. Even w/o the key. If you try that, make sure transmission is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. Vehicle can't move. When you jump the relay, if key is in on position, just where the dash lights come on, depending on the problem, the vehicle may start and run? By jumping the switch side of relay, you bypass the control side of relay, right side in diagram. I haven't looked up your security system, some fords, the security system is starter motor disable among other components. good luck

was it the battery positive cable or a smaller wire. possibly a fusible link wire go online with year,model,and engine size of your vehicle and search for electrical wiring diagram even more specifically all wiring going to the starter motor

Good luck with that. Complete exploded views of the entire engine are not even available in professional service manuals for most cars....finding one for a 23-year-old Honda would be an even rarer case. Then add to that, the fact that you did not even bother to mention WHICH engine your Honda is equipped with....and I would say that your chances are pretty much, NONE.

Remember a starter is a DC motor with a Solenoid integrated onto it on GM's. So there is a short to ground either in the solenoid or the windings of the Starter. Replace the starter, or have a shop do it for you. Safety hint Please do not keep turning over the motor this short is just like directly shorting out your batteries they could explode.

To install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   
   • Starter motor. Torque the bolts to 66 ft. lbs. (90 Nm) for 2.4L engine or 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm) for the 2.2L (VIN 4) engine or 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm) for the 2.2L (VIN F) engine.
     
   • Starter electrical connectors
     
   • Air inlet duct to the throttle body
     
   • Negative battery cable
