Radio Shack's universal (9V-13V, Model 273-1631) adapter should work fine for you. You can try setting it to the 10.2V setting, and if that doesn't work for you, you can try the 12V setting. Given that wall current can easily fluctuate 10% or more, the 1V difference is unlikely to matter. Make sure you get the polarity of the Adaptaplug correct -- inverting the voltage could actually damage your answering machine!
