I have a JVC Model CA-MXGT88 sterio system. I was playing a CD when the sound just quit. We opened up the box and the cd runs for a few seconds and then stops. What could be causing this?

I too purchaed one from Musicians Friend. The CD skips after about 5-10 minutes and I've tried various cd's in it. The words jumble on the screen as well.

When I called to return it they suggested I contact the manufacturer. I have a feeling that they've had returns on this item before... Guess we'll see what happens.

This is the second time I've purchased a VocoPro machine that had problems. I was hoping it was a glitch the first time around. Maybe not. Maybe this is a manufacturing problem for them.

cheack the speaker wireing.if thats not the pro i sugg the repair shop your unit could have over heated.
