My voyager's inside screen has gone black

the plug for the screen is at the top left of that phone if any part of the board has been damaged you can try a cellphone repair place or if you have insurance on the phone it might be best to replace the phone, if you don't have insurance you can find cheap phone on craigslist just make sure the esn is clear before you buy it once the mother board is damaged it is difficult to fix the phone unless you can find a place that can do very detailed soldering....

The screen or the flex cable may have gone bad. Try CPR in New York City. They are faster than the manufacturer, and cheaper! They have a usual turnaround of 3-5 business days. And if you become a fan on their facebook page, mention it and you will get a 10% discount.

mine did the same thing. take it to the store where you got it and they will give you a new one. apparently its happened before with the motorola rivals, something comes loose inside the phone. when you bring it to the store they should give you a new phone for free. but im pretty pissed off, because when i got my new one they transfer only the contacts. im pretty mad that all my pictures, videos,and ring tones/sounds are gone just because of motorola making me a crappy phone

Sounds like your only option is to ask to have it replaced under warranty. However, if they see that there was water damage, they may charge to replace it. There is a water damage indicator sticker under the battery, which turns pink if exposed to moisture.
